About the Story
All Ferran wants is to get the cattle to Broniss, collect his pay, and save his family from slavery.
But the journey has taken the drovers into the Blight, a dangerous land tainted by dark magic. And now an unexpected enemy has captured most of the crew.
Only Ferran, Winwallom, and Sura—the fierce Mashadian girl none of the boys trust—remain free to attempt a rescue.
The odds are terrible. They’re vastly outnumbered, days from help, and something deadly is lurking in the woods.
Ferran and his companions will need every bit of courage, cunning, and luck they can muster. And they’ll have to learn to trust one another if they hope to survive.
Continue the adventure in Sura, Book 3 of The Drovers, an epic fantasy series by John D. Brown.
