Artist Dixon Leavitt does Hunger

Dixon Leavitt is an amazing artist. He recently emailed me saying: “Sometimes I just start sketching with no plan in mind. This just popped out. Thought you’d like to see it.” It’s Hunger from Servant of a Dark God.

Duuuuuuuuuuuude!

Dixon explains the step by step of the creation of this painting at dixondoodles.blogspot.com.  You’ll want to noodle around that blog to see the other artwork he’s done.

Looks like I’ve got a new wallpaper. 🙂

I’m going to be starting a new review blog (the old one somehow lost all the images, and I hadn’t updated it in ages anyway), and you’ll be up for a re-review closer toward the holidays. If it’s okay with you, I’ll shoot you an email for an interview as well.

Sure. BTW, have you ever been to Elitist Reviews? I link to it in the sidebar, but they’ve added more reviewers. I don’t know if they’re expanding or set, but if you don’t want to maintain a whole site, you might want to contact them.

I think I’ve contacted them about it once before. If they’re expanding again soon, I’d love to get on board. My taste in books runs VERY similar to theirs. Tell you what: I’ll contact them again and you give me a good reference and we’ll be set.

Holy crap, that totally beats the picture of Hunger that I had in my head.

Kudos, Dixon. That picture is awesome.
